Rich Primer Powder Coatings
Zinc
rich primer
powder coating are recommended for use as an anti-corrosive
primer where good-quality chemical conversion pre-treatment
is recommended or specified but may not be available.
Intended to be overcoated with a suitable coating,
depending on the end-use application. The primer
is partially cured prior to application of
the topcoat in order to achieve bonding of the two
layers. The substrate must be in a clean, rust-free
condition prior to application of the primer.

Beckryzinc® Beckryzinc® from
Dupont is widely used for corrosion resistance using
a top coat polyester. This zinc rich
powder
provides excellent adhesion to the substrate.
